Painting - Watercolour 3 day course with Paul Riley. Trees for all Seasons.

  • Coombe Farm Studios (map)

This beautiful watercolour course gives attention to one of our favourite subjects at Coombe - trees in all their magnificence. During the three days you will explore the branches of winter, the lush greens of Spring and Summer, and the gorgeous atmospheric golds of Autumn.

Course Description

You will have the chance to use your imagination and work both from the trees in and around Coombe and from photos. A chance to slow down and explore trees in different contexts from the different seasons to their environment, including the countryside, their relationship to buildings and their reflections in water.

Paul is a master of watercolour painting, however the course is designed so that it is accessible and suitable if you are a beginner in watercolour, or a more accomplished painter.

With 40 years experience of teaching and the author of numerous books including Intimate Landscapes, The Watercolour Workshop and the Magic of Watercolour Flowers, Paul will guide you through the course based on your ability and he will demonstrate and actively teach numerous techniques to help you develop your skills and inspire you to try new things.

We will all start somewhere, and together we can all learn something new!
